Monad, the next-generation Layer-1 blockchain, has officially opened its MON token airdrop to select Solana users and Ethereum NFT holders, bridging two of the world’s most active crypto ecosystems.
Eligible participants can now check allocations via Monad’s official portal, with claiming opening October 28 and closing November 3. The campaign marks a bold expansion ahead of MON’s full network launch.
Strategic Cross-Ecosystem Airdrop
The initiative targets more than 225,000 users, combining 5,500 early Monad community members with verified on-chain participants from Ethereum and Solana.
Eligibility is determined by long-term NFT holdings and active engagement within both ecosystems, including NFT ownership (e.g. CryptoPunks, Azuki, Moonbirds, Pudgy Penguins, Meebits) and DeFi or governance activity.
“This airdrop connects the best of both worlds — Ethereum’s creative base and Solana’s speed-driven community — while rewarding genuine engagement,” said a Monad Labs representative. “We’re inviting builders, not bots.”
Robust Design and Governance
Monad employs anti-sybil algorithms to ensure fair distribution, filtering out bot-driven activity. The project raised $225 million in 2024 to power its vision of a high-throughput, EVM-compatible blockchain that merges scalability with low latency.
Since unveiling its testnet, Monad has drawn significant developer interest for its parallel execution model and gas-efficient architecture, offering a viable bridge between the Ethereum and Solana ecosystems.
Momentum Ahead of Token Launch
Early pre-market trading of MON tokens on Hyperliquid shows strong community anticipation, with reported $7.3 million+ in 24-hour volume and an indicative price near $0.08.
“Airdrops can be gimmicks or gateways,” said a DeFi analyst from CryptoCompare. “Monad’s approach leans toward the latter — designed to seed a sustainable user base across networks.”
How to Participate
Eligible users can:
- Visit Monad’s official airdrop page to verify eligibility.
- Connect a verified wallet linked to either Ethereum or Solana activity.
- Claim MON tokens between October 28 and November 3, 2025.
⚠️ Security Note: Users should rely only on the official Monad website and avoid links shared via third-party channels to prevent scams.
